Edinburgh Fringe winning rap play arrives in Dalston

The Edinburgh Fringe award winning play The Canary and The Crow has opened at Dalston's Arcola theatre.

The lyrical piece is inspired by the life of the writer, Daniel Ward and uses grime, hip hop and theatre to tell his story - or a young man struggling to find his place in society.

Daniel and the performer/composer Nigel Taylor have been speaking to Zakeea.

It's on at Arcola Theatre until February 8.
