Famous 'Educating Yorkshire' moment inspiration for play

For those familiar with the TV programme Educating Yorkshire - a new play will bring back one of the show's most heartwarming moments.

'Mushy: Lyrically Speaking' tells the true story of a young boy who overcame a debilitating stammer.

The production at the Arcola Theatre, follows on from what happened on TV - and how Mushy dealt with a sudden rise to fame.

The play has been directed by the 'Bend it Like Beckham' and 'Eastenders' actor Ameet Chana.

'Mushy: Lyrically Speaking' is on at the Arcola Theatre from the 1st to the 5th of October.
