Southwark theatre to become working pub in new play

For three weeks, a theatre in Southwark will transform into a fully functioning pub as part of a new play that, when the curtain falls, the real pub called The Anchor opens.

The play is called 'We Anchor in Hope' and its inspired by real-life stories heard from local londoners in the uncertain times we live in.

The play's writer, Anna Jordan, spoke to James Dickman.

'We Anchor in Hope' is at the Bunker theatre from Wednesday 25th September to Saturday the 19th October.
