Tower Hamlets tackles holiday hunger with free school meals in summer

The Mayor of Tower Hamlets, John Biggs, says the local authority will provide more than 21,000 meals over the summer holidays, to prevent children from going hungry. The borough has one of the highest rates of child poverty in the UK - and there are fears that many on free school meals will miss out during the break.
