Video killed the Renaissance star

On the face of it, the works of Italian Renaissance polymath Michelangelo and the 67-year old American video artist Bill Viola could not be more different.

But the organisers of a new exhibition at the Royal Academy say that if you look a little closer, you'll find similarities in the way that both men tackle life's biggest questions.

London Live went for a preview of the show titled Life Death Rebirth.

Bill Viola Michelangelo is on at the Royal Academy of Arts until 31st March 2019.
